National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Opened in 2010, it serves as a center for the preservation of written heritage and intellectual history.

The Book Museum is a marvelous place preserving the rich heritage of writing and print culture. Located in the National Academic Library, it houses rare books, ancient manuscripts, and unique editions, including rare copies, leather-bound books, and a collection comprising over 13,000 volumes. Among the museum's exhibits, a particularly striking ancient leather book dating back to 1532 is also on display. There's also a corner dedicated to the scholar Zaki Akhmetov, which houses his personal library—a testament to his respect for science and the memory of outstanding individuals. The museum creates a bridge between the past and the present, allowing every visitor to experience the history of words and appreciate the beauty of books as objects—not just information carriers, but also works of art and symbols of cultural memory.
